Unique in its kind
With the Funicular at the Top, passengers will be able to enjoy a lot more of all mountain activities! It is a modern transportation system that transfers tourists from the end of the sled tracks and/or Otto Kart (inflatables) route back to the start.
Stunning views of the natural environment
The panoramic deck is one of the most visited spots by tourists, since from it you can enjoy a stunning view towards the southern sector of Nahuel Huapi Lake, the Patagonian steppe, Ñireco, Ventana and Carbón Hills and all of Bariloche city, at their best.
Speed in the snow
To have a great time during Winter time, and when the mountain is covered in snow, Teleférico Cerro Otto has well defined sled tracks, with banked curves with different levels of difficulty surrounded by lengas, European pines, ñires and notros forests, just to name a few of the many species that make up their vegetation. For the little ones there is a special Track, where the staff looks after each one of them.
Guided snowshoe hikes through the forest
Always accompanied by an expert mountain guide, snowshoe hikes do not require prior experience nor sports training and they often have an optimal duration for anyone to do them.
Walks through the forest
Those who enjoy exploring the mountain and admiring its geography and the landscape around it will be able to choose for walks through the forest, always accompanied by an expert mountain guide that will make comments and show them details about the flora and fauna of the place.
Typical mascot of San Carlos de Bariloche
There is a photo shop at the top, inside the resort, where you can take home with you a memory of the kindness and sweetness of these traditional friendly pets. The people responsible for them will take you to an area specially prepared for this, where they will take pictures of you that you can later buy in paper or digital form.
At 1405 m.a.s.l., the exclusive Cafeteria turns a radius of 360°
At 1405 m.a.s.l., the exclusive Cafeteria turns a radius of 360° in 20 to 40 minutes (its two pre-set speeds) and at an almost unnoticeable speed, while passengers enjoy some of the many gastronomic options, at the same time they become enchanted with a unique and fascinating postcard of the entire Nahuel Huapi National Park.
Music, cinema and event at the highest
The resort counts with a disco, the OTTO HOUSE MUSIC, also unique at the top of a mountain, where young people that are on their student trip or groups that arrive through travel agencies enjoy the liveliest night, but during the day, in an atmosphere filled with special effects and good music and where travelers are offered hot chocolate and crafted cookie sandwiches. That same site turns into a Microcinema, where several documentaries are projected
Souvenirs for everyone
Once inside the resort, the visitor will find striking merchandising shops, where he will be able to buy, if he wants, a variety of objects to carry a nice souvenir from the Teleférico: mates, mugs, tankards, original bijouterie, magnets, note pads, bookmarks, stuffed St. Bernard dogs and even traditional postcards of the Nahuel Huapi National Park.
Culture at the mountain
The art gallery exhibits permanently exact original size casts, certified by the Italian government, of the three most important works of Michelangelo Buonarroti: The David, La Pietà and Moses. All of them are identical to the original, built with 80% of marble dust and 20% of acrylic resin. You can also see photographic reproductions of sketches and paintings, and accurate replicas of the tools that the author used.
Crazy and risk-free fun
Back at the Lower Station, and before you leave the resort, there will be a surprise waiting for you at the PHOTO SHOP, where some passengers may wish to have a portrait in a fixed shelf, specially prepared for this, imitating hilarious pirouettes as if they were in midair.
